European Open
European Open Championship is a junior national team tournament played alongside Partille Cup every year. Women and men participate every two years and next year, men born in 1994 or younger compete. The final will be played at Scandinavium – Gothenburg’s largest indoor arena. The other venues where the teams will play are Valhalla A and Lisebergshallen, just meters from the Scandinavium arena.
The following nations participated in the European Open Championship 2012: Russia, Poland, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Belgium, Romania, Germany, Iceland and Italy.
European Open is organized by Partille Cup in collaboration with Swedish – and the European Handball Federation.
